Welcome back, ScreenRanters! In order to score work, actors have to audition for roles in productions. Shocking, right?! Mostly, the actor will be sent a section of a script to memorize and perform to the filmmakers. However, sometimes those crafty creators will demand more from their thespians. Thus, creating bizarre situations to go into film lore. Today, we’re going to look at the weirdest auditions actors have been involved with. We’ll look at the hilarious (occasionally unfortunate) tales that they suffered through and whether they scored the role or not.

There’s Margot Robbie and her smacking good work during her audition. Hint. We have a down-on-his-luck Harrison Ford and how he got seen for Star Wars. There’s the audition process for The Omen that required some kicking and screaming. We have Emma Stone and being asked to do strange tasks during line reading. We have MCU’s Tom Holland who was asked to be an animal. Next is January Jones and her terrible, awkward dancing trial. Finally, we have Jade Smith and her method acting taken to a whole other level.
