How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is one of 2019’s most anticipated films. As the culminating chapter in this incredible trilogy, it promises to cap things off in a satisfying and emotional way. Trailers hint at potentially grim and intense obstacles for our heroes to face, and the possibilities for where the story might go have darker implications. In the How to Train your Dragon book series, an adult Hiccup narrates the events of his childhood as if the age of dragons has passed and The Hidden World looks to tell the story of how this happened. Director Dean DeBlois has also suggested that The Hidden World will take on some intense themes, including an intriguing look at the dangers of personal prejudices and DeBlois also suggests that the film’s plot will jump back and forth in its timeline, showing us the events following How to Train Your Dragon 2 as well as what happens to these characters in the not too distant future.
