“Jurassic Park” was 65 million years in the making, thanks to evolution... and the brilliant Steven Spielberg. Since the film that started it all in 1993, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” hit theatres starring the loveable Chris Pine, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, and Daniella Pineda. Director J.A Bayona added plenty of nods and callouts to the original epic.

From the raptors to the original park truck and the joke about the T-Rex in the rearview mirror are only a few of the many shoutouts. Which villain in a direct reference to the goat that was hunted in the first film? Jeff Goldblum is back with a warning and Maisie Lockwood, played by Isabella Sermon, is a child with big purpose just like Lex and Tim. Or how about those water puddle ripples, the shadows of the dinosaurs, and the continuous warning about the food chain with human interference. With the new Indoraptor being present, it specifically is a callback to how we all felt watching these creatures the first time. There is a hunt through the museum that seems questionably similar the final hunt through the parks main entrance. While the humour deaths of the villains is a mainstay in these classic blockbusters. What ever happened to Isla Sorna and which was the famous recreated shot in Lockwoods Estate?
