There’s nothing quite like seeing your favorite superhero on the big screen engaging in a massive final battle. There’s always so much going on as we watch our hero blast, fight, fly or engage the villain in a huge spectacle that’s just a feast for the visual senses. But of course, they’re all just actors in the studio and before the CGI is added, it’s safe to say that a lot of them look downright goofy!

Look at Paul Bettany’s Vision who not only has to have his ears stick out with a painted face while playing Vision, but also sometimes for WandaVision, he wasn’t even painted red, but rather a bright blue! Or look at the infamous Henry Cavill mustache debacle for Joss Whedon’s Justice League where Cavill couldn’t shave his Mission Impossible mustache for reshoots resulting in one of the worst examples of superhero CGI ever. Yeah that looks much better in the Snyder Cut right? Or even think of Rocket Raccoon, who while shooting is just played by Sean Gunn who crouches down in a green leotard and does all of Rocket’s lines in order to help out the cast and crew. Talk about commitment!
