11 Cringe Moments In Twilight
Description
Netflix recently dropped everyone’s favorite vampire love story. Well, unless you’re more into Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Vampire Diaries, True Blood, or the 300 others. The story of Kristen Stewart’s Bella having to choose between future The Batman Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen and Taylor Lautner’s werewolf warrior Jacob Black was one for the ages. Well...it was in 2008 at least.
The original film and its sequels New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn Part One and Breaking Dawn Part Two all have legions of fans. That being said...by modern standards it is VERY clear that several of the beloved moments from the series are very creepy by today’s standards. Whether we’re talking about lines like “so the lion fell in love with the lamb”, the infamous baby Renesmee, that whole imprinting thing right out of an episode of Law & Order: SVU or the battle sequence that depending on who you ask is the best choice the final movie made or the worst choice ever made it’s clear that this film series has not aged as gracefully as contemporaries like the Dark Knight trilogy, the Lord of the Rings trilogy or the Harry Potter film franchise. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with loving your favorite fandom but there are a few things about the series that we just need to admit are not as lovable by modern standards.
So what are the most cringeworthy moments in THE vampire movie series of the late 2000’s? Let’s find out together! Don’t forget to like, subscribe and share for more from Screen Rant!
