It won't be long now until everyone's favorite trickster God of Mischief, Loki himself, gets his own series on Disney+, as he is dragged off by a mysterious time police to fix the mess of the timeline he's made after stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame. There's plenty of good reasons for fans to be excited about Tom Hiddleston once more becoming a major player in the MCU of course, but with that also comes some more in-depth looks at the character.
After all, while he has a lot in common with his comic book counterpart, Loki has actually changed quit a lot due to his adaptation from page to screen... just like he changed a lot from myth to comic book back when he and his brother Thor were made part of the Marvel Universe by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in the 1960s.
That's why, leading up to the ultimate troublesome little brother's major debut as a leading TV series star, we're going to be taking a deeper look at the differences between various versions of the character, and see just what the MCU changed or simply haven't gotten around to adapting yet. Everything from his ever changing wardrobe to the true extent of his magical abilities, and even his much more complicated family tree will get an extra look here. And there's almost certain to be at least a few things you might not have been aware of.
