15 Movie Scenes That Took An Absurd Number Of Takes
Description
Sometimes a movie scene can be so intricate and difficult that it takes multiple takes and many days to shoot. Other times a movie scene can be super easy, barely an inconvenience and yet, down to a director’s perfectionism, an actor messing up or a prop going horribly wrong. Either way, the result remains the same and there are movie scenes that took a truly absurd amount of takes - and that’s what we are going to take a look at in this video!
We will go through 15 different movie scenes which took a truly crazy amount of takes to complete. From Tom Cruise having to walk through a door 95 different ways, to him jumping out of a plane over 100 times, to the famous Spider-Man sequence where Peter saves a lunch try, one of the biggest and best battles from Lord of the Rings, a famous line from the James Bond series, the assembly of a particular weapon in one of Steven Spielberg’s greatest movies of all time, directors Stanley Kubrick and David Fincher pushing perfectionism to the max, the famous hallway scene from Oldboy, to the legend that is Jackie Chan who apparently had over 2,000 takes for one scene alone! So get ready to see a lot of repetition and some just crazy numbers as we take a look at 15 movie scenes that really used a great number of takes.
