Just like their sister show The Simpsons (who have basically predicted everything ever), Futurama have made some big calls and predictions when it comes to the future. I mean, seeing as the show is a sci-fi comedy set in the year 3000 it is no real surprise. But, just because it is set so far in the distant future doesn’t mean a number of technological devices, social events and pop culture moments haven’t happened already or aren't on the verge of becoming a reality. But how many times have Futurama called it correctly? Well, as you guessed by the title, we have at least 15 times.
So, GOOD NEWS EVERYONE! Again as you probably guessed from the title, in this video we are going to take a look at 15 times Futurama predicted the future. Including a new type of fuel being invented, the latest smart technology and even the real life Professor Farnsworth looking to revolutionize the way we travel. Get ready to travel forward to the year 3000 without having to freeze yourself as we head back to the future world of Futurama.
Which prediction are you most impressed by? Are there any predictions we missed? What from the show would you like to see become a reality?
