20 Things You Missed In The Bob's Burgers Movie
Description
Fox’s Sunday night Animation Domination block has had another one of its breakaway shows breakaway into a big screen adaptation, this time Lauren Bouchard’s Bob’s Burgers: The Movie. After 12 seasons the creators were tasked with the no small task of creating a love note to the fans that have supported the show all these years while still making a movie that can be enjoyed by someone who has never watched the show before. Just like the quirky and one of a kind show it's based on, the movie sidestepped many of the flashy elements we’ve become accustomed to when a franchise tries to jump from one market to another. Instead they focused on the things that have made the show unique, from its look to its already colorful cast and mythology. The result is the first Disney animated film to be a hand-drawn two dimensional affair with no gimmicky guest spots or even gratuitous cameos from recurring characters unless they moved the story forward. By design the viewer is given everything they need to know in the first five minutes of the movie, but if you have been watching all this time you’ll be reunited with characters and character details that have helped make Bob’s Burgers the hit it's become. The Belchers end up on an adventure that is bigger than the TV screen yet just as familiar. Let us know your favorite callback in the movie in the comments and while you’re there be sure to like and subscribe for the latest in your inbox.
