The Harry Potter franchise lifts our imagination, presents us with fantastical worlds, and showcases some of the best visual effects ever put on-screen. Many of us don’t realize how much work and effort actually went into the massive productions. Behind the scenes photos give us a glimpse into the worlds and reveal a little too much about the magic. Don’t let these scenes wreck your view of the polished and complete Harry Potter films. Many of the big Harry Potter monsters and characters don’t seem so scary when they are shown. This includes a giant spider puppet and the head of a huge snake monster.

Professor Snape may be a serious character, but some behind the scenes moments have shown a more humorous side to the actor. The cast and crew seem to get along great. While we’ve gotten to know the actors portraying Harry, Ron, and Hermione, the stunt doubles were not shown much although they played a major part in the films. While a lot of the characters may play enemies on-screen, it’s very strange seeing them together off-screen. The large and imposing character Hagrid was filmed with a number of different secrets, including a massive stunt double and a small Harry Potter dummy. A lot of the outdoor scenes were actually taped on sound stages and seeing how these stages were created makes a big difference on the way you view them. From the first scene to the final moments, all of the key moments were captured by filmmakers so the whole series could be remembered for all the great times.
