The ending of a movie can be it’s make or break. If the movie ends well we will often remember it fondly, but if it ends badly it can change the game and leave us with a sour taste in our mouths. But the one form of ending that is arguably the most controversial among fans and often leaves us debating is the open ending. When things don’t wrap up conclusively and we are left with more questions than we have answers. It also often leads us to having late night angry debates with friends, family or just random off the street as to what the ending actually signifies and what the movie was all about. Most often or not this is a good thing but sometimes filmmakers do get it wrong.
