Walt Disney Animation Studios calls itself a maker of 'Stories that transcends generations' on its official website. A sprawling catalogue of covers from 'Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs' to 'Frozen II' meet the eye and stretch across the eclectic webpage. Pixar Animation Studios paints a slightly more demure picture with a splash of blue, white and its hallmark font designed by Carol Twombly. Both establishments are flagbearers of excellence in their own right.

A continuity mistake occurs when the visual, conceptual or temporal consistency of a narrative gets disrupted. While continuity mistakes can have different magnitudes of consequences for the narrative world in which they occur, they're usually more or less innocuous.
