The Big Bang Theory will go down in history as one of the most successful modern sitcoms of all time. Following the simple premise of “nerds who live across the hall from a hot girl,” the show grew into a juggernaut and went out on top after 12 huge seasons. Over the years, we learned to love Sheldon, Leonard, Howard, Raj and Penny, and then eventually Bernadette and Amy. But perhaps that love was little too blinding. Did our total devotion to the show make us ignore some huge plot holes or mistakes throughout the sitcom’s run?

Today’s video is all about the biggest plot holes in the Big Bang Theory. Some of these plot holes happened because of its connection with Young Sheldon, like the same actor playing both Leonard’s Bully and Sheldon’s Father George Sr., or the surprising snub of Dr. Sturgis in Sheldon’s Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech. Other plot holes come in the way that Big Bang talks about science, like with the whole Nobel Prize process and Amy and Sheldon’s Theory of Asymmetry. Other mistakes just seem like continuity errors that happen when you have a comedy show run for so long.
