We are living in a sort of golden age of comic book films, constantly seeing new ones either being released in theaters or at the very least announced by almost all of the major film studios. However, over the years there have been several superhero-based properties that have been developed that didn’t quite make it to release for one reason or another.

Whether it was The Amazing Spider-Man 3, Silver Surfer, The Incredible Hulk 2, Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4, or even the 90’s She-Hulk film starring Brigitte Nielsen, Marvel in particular has quite the track record of abandoning movie projects before they hit the silver screen.
