By now, almost everyone in the world knows what happened to Tony Stark at the end of Avengers: Endgame. And if you don’t, well, turn back now because we are about to seriously spoil some stuff for you. When Tony made the valiant decision to end his own life in order to save the universe, fans everywhere couldn’t help but wonder about what would happen to Peter Parker in Spider Man: Far From Home. We knew that Far From Home was going to take place right after the end of Endgame, and there was no way they wouldn’t be able to address this huge shock.
Well, address it they did. Spider Man: Far From Home not only mentions the passing of Tony Stark, it is a huge plot point in the entire movie! Once again, we warn you. Spoilers ahead.
The consequences of Tony dying are all over Far From Home, and affect just about every plot point and dramatic moment that happens on screen. From the fact that Peter’s grief over the loss of his mentor is the driving force behind all of his actions, and his resistance to get back in the game, to the idea that Tony might actually be the unseen hero of the entire thing! Along with that, there’s also the idea that Tony might actually have caused every single problem in the movie, by accident of course. Far From Home even mirrors the first Iron Man movie in more ways than one, acting as a sort of send off to one of the MCU’s greatest characters. All this and so much more are in the video below, so check it out!
