8 Keanu Reeves Cameos That Instantly Made The Film Better

Hey friends, I wanted to do a video of top ten Point Break fashion moments and the YouTube gods said it would be too powerful (they fear the football crop top, they fear Hot Boy Summer) so instead we’re focusing on Keanu Reeves in a safer way. But I warn you, it will still be overwhelmingly full of Keanu content. It’s time for Keanu Cameos. Kameos? Keanu Kontent? Mortal Keanu? What?

With John Wick 3: Parabellum’s incredible success a few summers ago, a new Matrix on the way, a confirmed TWO MORE John Wicks, and that amazing puppy interview it’s been one heck of a Keanussaince! Revisiting the Matrix franchise or hanging out with Bill & Ted, catching up on all those sugary sweet rom coms you missed as a kid, like A Walk in the Clouds and Sweet November, dipping into Cool Sports Movies™ (The Replacements) and Poignant Sports Movies™ (Hardball)... There’s always a delight hidden in the archives but expect the unexpected. Sometimes the man is sneaky.

How did Keanu get here? We don’t know but we’re just so happy to see him. From the final pages of Woody’s legacy in Toy Story to the arid desert (I have many questions about that geographical oddity) of Spongebob Squarepants’ cinematic landscapes, scripts work in mysterious ways to bring Keanu into the mix. We’ve got ferns, two of ‘em (Between Two Ferns: The Movie), a kitten (Key and Peele’s Keanu) and the brutal violence of Randall Park (Always Be My Maybe). If you’re running low on starring roles, fear not, we’ve got juicy little cameos. Warning: may or may not end in a feud with a certain games developer but you take the good, you take the bad, you feel deep confusion outside of your local Circle K.
