A Great Ryan Reynolds Movie Is No Longer Getting A Sequel

In 2019, Ryan Reynolds aimed to kick off a whole new franchise as the lead actor in the Netflix action ensemble Michael Bay movie "6 Underground." The movie, Bay's 14th, made a big splash as one of Netflix's most widely-seen original movies — but critics didn't respond to it, and now, Netflix has confirmed that it's no longer exploring plans to make a sequel.

Co-starring Mélanie Laurent, Dave Franco, Adria Arjona, Ben Hardy, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as the other 5 members of Reynolds' elite vigilante squad, "6 Underground" certainly has its fans — fans that are now definitely disappointed that a great Ryan Reynolds movie is no longer getting a sequel.
