Description

Superhero costumes come in all shapes and sizes, unfortunately not all of them fit normal humans. Whether it’s too big, too small, too thick or too thin, there’s always SOMETHING annoying about wearing a superhero costume, even if it’s just that it’s hard to go to the bathroom.

Tom Holland’s Spiderman costume seems like it would be no problem at all to act in, but with limited visibility, and no mouth or ear holes, there are sometimes accidents. Like when Tom got punched in the face because he couldn’t hear his scene partner. Or when he wants to drink water, and has to do it through a tube in his eye socket. Gross!

Robert Downey Jr. has it made. Ten movies as Iron Man, and after the first one, they got easier and easier, aka more and more digital. In the first movie, he was almost blinded by LED lights in the helmet, and could hardly move in the constricting costume. Lucky for him, technology has allowed him to wear just a small part of the outfit and everything else can be painted on.

If you want to know how hard it is to be Batman, just ask Val Kilmer. He had the worst of it, and talked a lot about it. George Clooney had issues with the nipples, and Christian Bale had it hard in his first Batman outing, but they made the costume easier for him to wear with each movie.
