Awful Performances By Great Actors - Part 2

For every “Citizen Kane” there is a “Plan 9 from Outer Space.” Such is the way it goes when you’re trying to make the next major Hollywood blockbuster. For as long as there have been movies, there have been terrifically bad movies as well. And while some of these duds disappear into the fog of forgotten cinema, others stick around for any number of reasons. One, in particular, is the high-profile celebrity who often stars in them.

From John Travolta to Ian McKellen, some of the biggest names in the movie business have taken on roles they would rather forget. But we the movie-going audience love these incredibly bad characters. That’s why we’re going to take another look at awful performances by great actors.
