Barbie has only been out for a week and it’s already the sixth highest grossing movie of the year with an eye for climbing even higher knocking off heavy hitters like the Fast series, Spider-man and even has eyes on the current leader Super Mario Brothers. It’s Barbie’s time to shine as Greta Gerwig introduces us to a Margot Robbie Barbie and Ryan Gosling Ken who have to interact with a real world where they have grossly overestimated their influence. This raises the question then…wither Barbieland? Is it a secret Mattel facility? A land of pure imagination? An alternate reality? Does it matter?
