If you were stunned to learn of Chadwick Boseman’s passing, you’re not alone! Even writer and director Spike Lee who worked with the star on the movie “Da 5 Bloods” says he had no idea he was suffering from colon cancer. We’ll take a look over his acting career, from getting fired from the set of “All My Children” to his breakout role as Jackie Robinson in the movie “42.” He was once a prospective basketball star before writing the play “Crossroads” and embarking on a new career. . .with a little bit of help from some famous friends like Denzel Washington. Before he worked with them on “Black Panther, he crossed paths with fellow stars Angela Bassett and Michael B. Jordan. He spent his down time helping terminal patients and visiting sick children and never complained about his own situation. Although his acting career was relatively brief, it was incredibly impressive and we’ve yet to see his final film, “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” yet. His time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe may have made him a household name, but few realize just how impressive his journey has been outside of it.
How will you remember the career of this legendary actor? Will he always be King T’Challa in your memory or does another one of his many roles stand out more? Share your thoughts with us and your fellow fans in the comment section and thanks for checking out Screen Rant.
