Cobra Kai: There Will Be A New Sensei In Season 3

Thanks to its epic cliffhanger, Cobra Kai season 3 promises to shake things up in a big way! Everything is different now. Johnny lost control of Cobra Kai to Kreese after his star pupil and surrogate son Miguel was critically injured in the all-out school brawl between his dojo and Daniel LaRusso’s Miyagi-loving dojo. That’s going to have huge ramifications! We don’t know how exactly things will be resolved or is Kreese can be stopped, but it looks like Daniel is feeling lost. And why wouldn’t he be? His wife told him to shut down the dojo and he definitely feels like he failed his students. So who can help him out of his funk? Could it possibly be Miyagi’s other student, the next Karate Kid herself Julie Pierce?
That would make sense for the story. It seems like this season will have Daniel learn more about his mentor and realize there’s a lot he didn’t know. What better way to represent that than by having Julie show up to offer a new perspective on things. Maybe she can give Daniel some sage Miyagi-like device that Daniel never considered before. It definitely feels like a certainty that Julie will show up at one point or the other, and now feels like the perfect time!
But of course, if Julie doesn’t show up there’s still another person who can help snap Daniel out of his funk. That would of course be the main villain from Karate Kid Part II, Chozen. The last time we saw Chozen, he was trying to cause Daniel serious harm, but has he mellowed out in the last 30 years? From the looks of the trailer, it seems like it!
