The latest big comic book movie centering on the newest Task Force X team with Idris Elba as Bloodsport, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, F9’s The Champ as douchey Captain America, Doctor Who’s Peter Capaldi as The Thinker, SNL’s Pete Davidson as Blackguard, Firefly’s Nathan Fillion as T.D.K., and the actress who starred alongside Black Panther himself, Chadwick Boseman in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Viola Davis. The movie was written and directed by Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 director James Gunn. Not only has it been proven to be a big hit with fans and general audiences alike but it has also led to a ton of television shows to come.

New shows focusing on the maker of peace, Michael B. Jordan’s take on the Val-Zod Superman, A spin-off to Twilight star Robert Pattinson’s The Batman directed by Matt Reeves focusing on What If?, No Time To Die, and Westworld star Jeffrey Wright’s Jim Gordon GCPD, a new animated series from Batman: The Animated Series creator Bruce Timm, A Green Lantern series to wash the taste out of the Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds appearance which will focus on American Horror Story’s Finn Witrock as Guy Gardner and hopefully Arrow’s David Ramsey as John Stewart Diggle and a new Justice League Dark television franchise from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Trek director JJ Abrams without Constantine and Legends of Tomorrow star Matt Ryan will all be just a few of the upcoming projects from the likes of Greg Berlanti, James Wan, Elizabeth Banks and more.
