Dr. Strange's Third Eye Explained

"Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" has a lot of the things you might expect in it – sick sorcery, witchy weirdness, and some whiplash-inducing dimension-hopping. It also has some things that come as real surprises, like a Doctor Strange face with 50% more eyeballs than anyone wanted to see.

As the trailers for the sequel revealed well in advance, when Doctor Stephen Strange encounters a sinister variant of himself from another world, he's shocked to see a whole third eye pop out of his forehead, glaring at him, being gross.
