Marvel’s latest film features an alien race sent to Earth by Celestials...who then have to save the Earth from Celestials. The movie introduced us to characters like Ikaris, Makkari, Thena, Phastos, Druig, Kingo and Sprite that we’ll see for years to come. Well, except for Ikaris I guess. The bigger news came from the film’s first stinger where we were introduced to two new characters who will shape the MCU in the future. The first was Pip the troll, one of Marvel’s most humorous sidekicks who drunkenly announced the arrival of his friend Eros, otherwise known as Starfox. Patton Oswalt and Harry Styles brought these characters to life with a level of style and bravado we’ve never seen before. That’s because Eros and Pip are two fun-loving characters who like to party their way from one side of the galaxy to the other. Funnily enough, Pip is usually seen with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3’s Adam Warlock while Eros is often seen in stories about his brother Thanos. Neither will be seen in this way but they seem like a match made in heaven for the MCU. Eros has the ability to psychically control the emotions of other people. Pip, on the other hand, is an enemy of the Universal Church of Truth led by Warlock’s evil future self, Magus. Both of their fun loving personalities frequently get them into trouble, even if they’re both usually just sidekicks.

So what’s the big deal with these new characters? Let’s find out! Don’t forget to like, subscribe and share for more from ScreenRant!
