Every Easter Egg You Missed In Indiana Jones Movies
Description
This covers the gamut of many astute observations and Easter Eggs found throughout the Indiana Jones series. Starting in 1981 and all the way to the latest film in the series, Dial of Destiny. Each film in the series has something that references other franchises but often, it references its sister series, Star Wars.
George Lucas's Indiana Jones got inspiration was from matinée serials from the 1930s. It takes inspiration from Hiram Bingham (National Geographic's first archaeological grantee), Roy Chapman Andrews, and Sir Leonard Woolley. Lucas used them as a template to use as the titular hero in the action film.
It has been 15 years since the release of the last Indiana Jones film in 2008. Now, in 2023, the final film featuring Harrison Ford was directed not by Steven Spielberg but by a much younger director named James Mangold, who also was the man behind "Logan", "3:10 To Yuma" and "I Walk The Line." The final film, “Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny” will be released on June 30th.
