There are plenty of moments in the Harry Potter books that fans didn’t feel were done properly in the films, and a lot of that generally winds up falling on the plate of screenwriter Steve Kloves, who adapted all of the books for JK Rowling. While your mileage may vary, it’s generally agreed that most of the big changes are pretty hard to swallow, and that’s never more apparent than in his handling of Hermione and Ron.
