There are some truly iconic gadgets and symbols in the comic book world and Marvel alone. Iron Man has his suit, Spider-Man has his web shooters, Thor has Mjolnir, Thanos has the Infinity Gauntlet, Dr. Strange has the Eye of Agamotto and of course Captain America has his shield. The shield is one of the most sought over, loved and prized possessions in the MCU and everyone seemingly respects the power of the shield, and the responsibility that comes with it. The shield has been used countless times in the MCU and often in the most important moments - such as Cap vs Tony in Civil War, the battle against Thanos in Endgame and of course for the first time The Avengers ever assembled. However, while one particular vibranium shield comes to mind, that’s not the only shield to exist in the MCU and there have actually been multiple - some pretty cool ones, some not so cool ones.

In this video we will look at every version of Captain America’s shield that has appeared in the MCU - to Cap’s very first shield, to his very last, one he never had, and one made by the man to follow him. These are all of the shields to appear in the MCU - other than S.H.I.E.L.D. of course, because that’s something totally different!
