People in the MCU are obsessed with Vibranium. Since its first appearance in Captain America: The First Avenger it has been established in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that nothing is as rare or as universally useful as it. In the years that have followed we have seen a ton of inventions made from it that have been utterly amazing and some that are downright terrifying.
The most obvious example of Vibranium used to such a brilliant extent is how it is used in the film Black Panther. Wakanda is by far Marvel’s greatest location and Vibranium is a big reason why. They have used it to create complex weapons, flying vehicles, nanotech armor, and even a heavily armored rhino. Then there’s Captain America’s shield which is not only one of the coolest weapons in the series but has become the franchise’s most important symbol.
Of course, while the resource is mostly used by heroes in the franchise, it has also been used for some extreme destruction. Not only did Ultron make a body of Vibranium but he used it to create one of the most powerful weapons we’ve ever seen in the MCU. We’ve also seen villains like Klaue steal the resource from Wakanda and use it to commit crimes against them. While he doesn’t use it to the extent his comic counterpart does, a Vibranium blaster is an impressive weapon.
So how many Vibranium inventions are there in the MCU? Let’s find out. Don’t forget to like, subscribe and share for more from Screen Rant!
