This is the single most terrifying version of Pinnochio since the time Roberto Benini played the wooden liar! The New Netflix adaptation stars Ewen Mcgregor as Sabastian J Cricket. He’s made his home in the heart of a small wooden boy that was magically brought to life by a guardian spirt, and it's all set in 1940s fascist italy! When the cobbler looses his son in a bombing he creates a new wooden one that ends up on a journey to discover what it means to be a real boy.
