‘90s kids who grew up watching ABC’s Friday night “TGIF” block surely remember Rider Strong. As Shawn Hunter on Boy Meets World, Strong played the best friend to Ben Savage’s Cory Matthews. An opposite of sorts to Cory, Shawn was a kind of “bad boy” with a troubled family dynamic whose storylines were often some of the more serious on the show.
