How Avengers 4 Could Bring Back These Dead MCU Characters

Will Avengers 4 end up being just like it is in the comics - where no superhero is really dead forever? and that same mantra could every well apply to the MCU and specifically Avengers 4. Even without Thanos’ snap, many a character, hero and villain, met their own personal decimation. With rumors banding about concerning time travel in Avengers: Endgame, we have to wonder, “Is any character really gone?”

It’s natural to assume that some that met their end pre-snap in Infinity War, such as Vision, Gamora, and Loki are prime candidates to make a triumphant return from beyond, but are we really limited to just those MCU characters? Many have fallen along the way, and if Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are really time hopping, what’s to stop them from going after Black Panther’s father, T’Chaka, and preventing his Sokovia demise? Could Iron Man go all the way back to his parents death and prevent The Winter Soldier from taking out Howard Stark and his wife Maria? Can Scarlet Witch finally get the closure she needs and go visit her twin brother, Quicksilver, and stop him from dying? But what about villains? Frank Grillo has already publicly stated that his character Crossbones - who really set everything in action during Captain America: Civil War - will return in Avengers 4.

Avengers: Endgame is the final chapter, and as we all know, anything goes in the final chapter. Will we see heroes and villains return? You’re already expecting a bunch of heroes to be unsnapped - don’t be surprised if there’s more than just them.
