Captain America made his MCU debut in 2011 in “Captain America: The First Avenger'' and has been kicking butt ever since. The Russo Brothers took on the very difficult task of taking this relatively campy Nazi puncher from the comics and turning him into a symbol of the MCU’s greatness. The Russo Brothers have stated that they were never really big fans of Captain America in the comic books. They said with their iteration of the character they wanted to make him more relatable and believable. It's safe to say they knocked that out of the park as Captain America has become a fan favorite amongst the MCU. In 2019 the blockbuster hit “Avengers: Endgame” was released to worldwide acclaim from fans and critics alike. The movie saw Captain America being aged dramatically after the defeat of Thanos. He got to reconnect with his long lost love Peggy and even passed the mantle of Captain America to his faithful friend Sam Wilson. The ending was largely satisfying to fans and felt like a very fitting end to such an iconic character. Chris Evans even went out publicly on multiple occasions to state that he was very happy with how the movies turned out and that he was done with playing the character Captain America. But allegedly Chris Evans is in talks with Marvel execs about coming back as Captain America in one of their newest properties. So let's check out some ways they could bring back our favorite Star Spangled hero.
