Avengers: Endgame closes out the twenty-two films in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe with epic grandeur. But it’s not without a sense of somber tragedy too. For while our heroes might have won the day, the victory wasn’t without its fair share of sacrifice. Iron Man, Black Widow, Vision, and even to some degree Captain America - these were just a few of those who gave their lives to ensure the rest of the universe could live on.

But we all know how death works in the world of comic books. No one that meets their demise is ever gone for long. There’s too much money to be made! So let’s take a look at how some of these Avengers could make their way back into the fold for future Marvel Studios films.

First, we have Tony Stark. While he sacrificed himself at the end of Endgame, he also created a hologram message to bid his daughter and his family farewell. Who’s to say he won’t return by the same method and future entries? In fact, what if he became a Jarvis-type character, guiding the next Iron Man’s path? We’ve also got Vision, who we know will be returning in the upcoming Disney Plus series WandaVision. Maybe his consciousness was uploaded to the Wakandan memory banks by Shuri? And how about Black Widow? There’s a solo film on the way for her character, so maybe they’ll find a way to bring her back using the Soul Stone?

And there are plenty more ways we can explore from there. Let’s take a look at all of them!
