It may have taken 25 years (and seven years after it was officially announced), but the Space Jam sequel, A New Legacy, has finally hit theatres and found the big screen. Despite Warner Bros planning on making the sequel all the way back in the 90s, due to a number of setbacks (such as Michael Jordan turning them down) the sequel never found its feet, and a number of spinoffs involving Tiger Woods, Tony Hawk and even Jackie Chan were touted, but ultimately shelved. Finally though, Space Jam found their star with NBA legend in the making Lebron James starring as an alternate version of himself, where the world, the toons and his family find themselves in peril. The movie is packed full of laughs, family friendly moments and stunning details and is well on its way to make a lasting impression at the Box Office, even with the global pandemic. But how did this movie come to be? How did the visual effects in it end up pioneering the movie industry? And how did Warner Bros create a new, modern day classic?
