Since ‘The Mandalorian’ premiered on Disney+ it has been a smash hit. This can be attributed to a number of reasons. Firstly, the loving care and creative vision from it’s co-creator Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni has gone a long way in providing the franchise a refreshing feel. Secondly, the fleshed out, lived in world the show takes place in and the intricate and elaborate planets and spaceships we see is not only a fitting tribute to the original franchise, but manages to hold up on its own. But the show has had a bigger impact outside of the world of Star Wars than you might expect, and the technology and production tricks used in the series could be an absolute game changer in the TV and Movie industry. Just like George Lucas’ Star Wars did in 1977, The Mandalorian is pushing the boundaries of what can and can’t be done on screen, and the innovative way they have made the show could potentially set the benchmark for those to follow.

In this video we will look behind the scenes at The Mandalorian production and how they managed to bring back life to the world of Star Wars. From the cutting edge technology they use, the blended forms of styling, homages to original franchise and a completely new form of virtual production, we will unpack just how important and visually rich The Mandalorian is. This is the way The Mandalorian revolutionized the future of film.
