Not too happy with Star Wars The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker? Don’t lose (A New) Hope, because we’re Striking Back with some cool news and the Jedi are going to Return like never before. We’ve got the Star Wars Sequels you’ve been looking for.
With the release of two new books, Pablo Hidalgo, “Star Wars: Fascinating Facts - Story, Lore & History From the Greatest Galaxy” and Paul Duncan’s “The Star Wars Archives: 1999-2005”, it’s been confirmed that George Lucas had other plans for Episodes VII, VIII & IX. Darth Maul returns as the main villain, with Darth Talon as his apprentice, to lead our heroes on a fight against the criminal underground of the Star Wars universe. Leia becomes the Chosen One, yes, you heard us. Princess Leia. And Midi-chlorians come back in a big way. Leading us to believe that Star Wars: Galaxy Edge would look totally different if Disney had gone the way Lucas intended it, with rides like “Mr. Whills Wild Ride” and Darth Talon character performers, causing much alarm from the parents and giving fan boys even more reasons to visit the park.
What do you think about George Lucas’s proposed sequels? Do you think fans would’ve accepted it? Maybe Rian Johnson’s trilogy will explore some of these ideas.
