John Wick: Chapter 4: Everything We Know So Far

Whether you’re a neon noir addict, got a soft spot for spaghetti westerns, chase the high only martial arts films can bring, replenish your electrolytes with sick BJJ content, or live the devoted life of a Keanu Stan™, John Wick 4’s 2022 release is a lighthouse to many (along with the confirmed 5th film, too far out to even ponder). From creative changes in the writer’s room at Lionsgate to the addition of legends like Donnie Yen, there’s plenty to unpack. John Wick 3: Parabellum ended with (SPOILERS) Ian McShane’s Winston making big moves and Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King rescuing a broken John Wick and asking him if he’s pissed (he is). What does the future hold for those returns? Could we see the Adjudicator once again? Zero’s student, portrayed by stars of the cult films The Raid and the Raid 2, Cecep Arif Rahman and Yayan Ruhian, were shown mercy by John Wick in that lovely glass house. What might that lead to? It’s all Winston often says, “Consequences.” Genre tv and indie darlings Bill Skarsgard (IT, The Devil All The Time, Hemlock Grove) and Shamier Anderson (Wynonna Earp, Stowaway) have joined the cast but in what capacity? Electronic pop star Rina Sawayama is making her feature film debut in John Wick 4. And location, location, location: This film isn’t another breeze by The Continental with a one off stop elsewhere. The cast is assembling in Berlin and France and Japan are on the call sheet. Dang… I guess we gotta talk about it? Let’s Baba these Yagas.
