So, after years of just being mere speculation and internet rumor to finally becoming a huge (four hour) reality - the Snyder Cut has had quite the journey. Since the mixed (and let’s be honest - mostly poor) reviews for the Joss Whedon ‘Justice League’ theatrical cut came in, fans have been championing the release of the fabled Snyder Cut and have now finally gotten their wish. The new, longer (and arguably better) version of the movie has finally dropped with all new scenes, storylines and characters. In fact there were a lot of new characters and more than you might have expected. Now, while one fan theory didn’t come true (we’re talking about a certain green guy) the new characters provided justice to the storyline, fleshed out the characters around them and added to the DCEU overall.
In this video we will take a look at each and every new character to make an appearance in the Snyder Cut (including characters used so differently that they felt new) and how they impact not only the movie but the DCEU at large. From the introduction of a fan favorite Justice League member, people integral to main characters' back stories and of course - one of the greatest villains of all time - these are all the new characters to appear in the Snyder Cut.
