Loki: Time Monster Alioth Explained
Description
In episode 5 of Loki we were introduced to the Void, a place where pruned things go, and even with all the interesting timeline and alternate character characters shown off like Frog Thor, the Thanos Copter, Presidential Loki and even a nod to the living tribunal, the most interesting character/concept to come out of the episode was the big space cloud, Alioth. Alioth isn’t just some dusty pushover either. He rules over billions of years across multiple timelines and has an empire over double or even triple the size of the next timeline tyrant, Kang. And that connection is what makes Alioth’s introduction so interesting. Kang has been a Marvel Comics mainstay for decades and is constantly in conflict with the Avengers but will align himself with them when the time is right (ha ha). There’s even been multiple times when he’s been in conflict with and has worked with Marvel’s most enigmatic villain, Dr. Doom. His most recent exploits came during the Infinity Conflict when Thanos became the embodiment of the universe where he helped the main Marvel universe Thanos stop him.
In this video, we’re going over Alioth, Kang’s potential introduction to the MCU and what that could mean going forward.
Do you think Kang will be introduced in the final episode of Loki? Or do you think that this is another red herring to throw people off the scent? What are your ideas or theories as to who the mastermind behind the TVA could be? Let us know in the comment section below and don’t forget to subscribe to Screen Rant for more videos like this.
