Lucifer: How Tom Ellis Got Ripped For The Final Season

Netflix did the impossible a few years ago by saving everyone’s favorite devilishly good Fox show from the chopping block. Fans were most pleased when the star of BBC’s Miranda and ABC’s Once Upon A Time’s first Robin Hood. He was also on USA’s Rush but I don’t think anyone else watched that. The streaming service’s first season was full of twists and turns. It began with the Devil back where he belonged as the leader of Hell once more. Once he seemingly came back, it turns out that there was a second version of him running around. How Chilling Adventures of Sabrina of them. It turns out that this doppelganger was none other than his twin brother Michael. As their sibling rivalry turned violent, they were interrupted by Dennis Haysbert as their father God himself. After a disastrous family dinner where God failed to bring the brothers together, he announces that his powers are on the fritz and that he’s retiring. This leads to a power vacuum that our hero wants to claim for himself. After a prolonged conflict that burns him on his return to Heaven, he and Chloe learn that he has scored the top job after all. Now we just have to wait to see what he does with it.

More important than all of that is the INSANE abs the lead actor brings to the table. Like all of the Marvel actors, he hired his own personal trainer to design #DevilTraining for him. While that was fun...the diet clearly wasn’t.
