M. Night Shyamalan's Tales from the Crypt Reboot Was Canceled

TNT's attempt to reboot Tales from the Crypt with M. Night Shyamalan in 2016 ultimately fell apart due to legal issues surrounding the rights to the Cryptkeeper character, which they could not use. Despite initial excitement and plans for a 10-episode first season, the project was scrapped in 2017, leaving fans disappointed and no official reboot currently in the works.
