The MCU has given us some amazing characters over the years from super soldiers, to iron men, to incredible hulks, to monsters, to aliens, it’s all just so much fun! And as much as we enjoy watching our favorite heroes fight despicable bad guys while trying to save the entire universe, you have to wonder just how much the performers like their roles. Sure, they probably love having just buckets of cash at their disposal and the fame that comes with being in an MCU movie, but let’s not forget that it’s still a difficult job. Some of these performers undergo over five hours of makeup everyday in order to play their characters for the cameras, then they call it a night, spend more time removing all the makeup, then report back the next day to do it all again!
That’s the overall focus of today’s video, meaning we’ll be looking at certain performers who wore the most complex designs and outfits over the course of the MCU. Like did you know that on top of all the robot gear to play Vision, Paul Bettany was also painted blue for the WandaVision TV show? Did you know that there were over 3,000 body makeup dots created for Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger’s shirtless scenes? And that they were difficult to manage around all the water? Do you know just how many pieces of costume it took to bring Drax the Destroyer to life? The answer is a lot! Definitely more than you expect.
So check out our video today all about the difficult makeup process your favorite MCU talent went through to play the part. After you’re done, be sure to hit that big like and subscribe button and be sure to leave a comment! Thanks for watching ScreenRant! Let’s get started.
