The saying goes, you either die a hero or live long enough to play another one. But for some actors- some of their favourite roles never came to be. While we may envy them as they get to live out our dreams on screen, even superhero actors can be unfaithful to their characters, wanting to play a different superhero or villain from the ones they initially play, and even though Marvel is one of the biggest franchises of all time, that doesn’t mean Marvel actors aren’t interested in other comic book characters. In this video, we will look at some of the actors who expressed interest in playing a different part. From a franchises biggest villain wishing to play their rivals biggest hero, to an avenger wanting to play another avenger, we take a look at some of the best and most shocking. While some might just have been a pipe dream- others got pretty close to happening.
