Since “Captain Marvel” was announced to take place in the 90’s, theories have been popping up everywhere as to where Carol Danvers has been all this time in the MCU? Brie Larson will be embodying, as Kevin Feige puts it, “the most powerful superhero yet.” So if Captain Marvel existed this whole time throughout “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “The Avengers,” “Iron Man,” and “Captain America,” where has she been? The most popular theory is that she has been in outer space, fighting galactic wars and maybe even starting a truce between the Kree and the the Xandarians.
When Nick Fury finally calls her for help at the end of “Infinity War,” just before Thanos’ wipes out half the population, it seems as if she was his only last shred of hope. However, at the end of “Ant-Man and The Wasp,” there question has been risen that perhaps Captain Marvel was in the Quantum Realm this entire time? If so, why hasn’t anyone been in contact with her and why was the first time we heard of her when the Infinity Stones were all together…perhaps she is their secret weapon, only called upon when all other outlets have been used up.
Marvel’s newest film will star Jude Law, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening, Samuel L.Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, and Lee Pace, directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. Until then, all we can do is theorize as to where the heck she has been for so many years. Watch this Screen Rant video to discover why Carol Danvers may just ben in the Quantum Realm and if there is any link between her and Scott Lang name.
