Marvel Theory: The Snap Will NOT Get Reversed In Avengers Endgame

Last year's Avengers: Infinity War ended on a truly shocking and solemn note, as Thanos used the Infinty Stones to turn half of all life in the universe to dust.
The Decimation, as the event is now known in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was carried out with a mere snap of the Mad Titan's large purple fingers.
It's largely expected that the prune-chinned villain's actions will be undone in this year's Avengers: Endgame - but this theory suggests otherwise.
It suggests that Thanos actually created a new universe and that those who "dusted" were actually sent to it - and that, in Avengers: Endgame, those in the old universe will either sacrifice themselves to allow those in the new universe to live, or have to make the hard decision to remain in separate universes.
Moreover, it suggests that the new universe will be the one the MCU focuses on going forward as a franchise.
It makes sense! The "new" universe - the one where the dusted characters supposedly went - has all the new characters like Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and Black Panther in it, while the "old" universe has a lot of characters who are expected to leave the franchise soon anyway, like Tony Stark, Steve Rogers and Thor.
