Marvel looks to have another hit on their hand with their alternate reality anthology series, What If…? The series will look at key moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and reimagine them with new outcomes and characters. There are a few confirmed stories already, such as what would happen if Peggy Carter was the recipient of the Super Soldier Serum and what if Yondu took T’Challa instead of Peter Quill. But what else could we see?

Well, how about seeing Thanos as a hero instead of a villain? He can make a lot of resources with those stones after all. Magneto is now part of the MCU and while we may not see him in action in season one, unless they look back on previous X-Men movies, we could certainly see him in later seasons, which may show him as a leader of the Avengers. We’re all very excited for Thor Love and Thunder, directed by Taika Waiti, as it will show Natalie Portman as Thor. But what if that happened in New Mexico during the first Thor movie? Speaking of Thor, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Taika Waiti and Jeff Goldboom are back for the show as well and that makes us very happy.

We could see alternate takes on heroic and tragic events. What would happen if Steve Rogers fell off the train in the First Avengers instead of Bucky? How would things play out in the long run if Bruce Banner was successful in making the Super Soldier Serum? What if Killmonger was brought back to Wakanda as a child? Makes ya wonder.

We also know Robert Downey Jr is slated to return as well, which could be the perfect chance to see what would happen if Iron Man survived his snap. There’s also the fun and light version where Hawkeye is the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. and gives Fury orders. Yes-Samuel L. Jackson and Jeremy Renner are involved. There’s also the possibility of seeing Spider-Man take on another heroic duty-that of Sorcerer Supreme!
