Confidential won the Oscars over after her intimate on-screen moments with Russell Crowe and her biting monologue with Guy Pierce. Even when movies are forgotten over time, special moments like Penelope Cruz’s 15-minute appearance in Vicky Cristina Barcelona aren’t. After winning the Oscar vote, Cruz vindicated her place as a sensational actress on the big-screen, proving you don’t have to make many appearances to make a lasting impact.
