Projects That Were Canceled Because Someone Passed Away

Death is simply a fact of life. But what happens when a project is underway and someone integral to that piece of work dies? Does the show go on? In some cases, there are workarounds. But it’s especially challenging when a movie project loses a big star either before or during production. Can such a film be salvaged?
