Depending on what your favorite reality show is, tuning in for some unscripted entertainment could mean sitting back as professional fishermen haul in their latest catch on the dangerous sea — or watching tipsy middle-aged women brawl over brunch (hey, being wealthy and affluent can be stressful!).

That's why it always comes as such a shock when you flip to your reality show of choice only to realize that your favorite cast member has up and vanished. And don't even force us to imagine the terrifying prospect of our favorite IRL drama-fest getting axed altogether!
